扇子 Sensu
噺家という役柄に合わせ、伝統的な技法を受け継ぐ職人さんに一つひとつ役名を手書きで入れていただきました。 For a role as a rakugo storyteller, artisans who carry on traditional techniques inscribed each character's name by hand, one fan at a time.
柄は5種類のアソート。それぞれに異なる趣があり、手仕事ならではの味わいと粋な仕上がりとなりました。 Five patterns in assortment — each with its own air, finished with the warmth and quiet elegance that only handwork can give.
地球キャンドル Earth Candle
物語は、地動説に翻弄された人々の世界。千秋楽を迎え、駆け抜けた身体と心を労いながら、舞台の余韻を感じていただけたらという想いが形となったリキッドキャンドル。 The story unfolds in a world of people tossed about by the heliocentric turn. Made for the final performance — a liquid candle shaped from the wish to soothe bodies and hearts that had run their course, and to let the afterglow of the stage linger.
点火すると内側がゆっくりと対流し、中に浮かぶ惑星が動き出します。まるで舞台の世界を映した、小さな宇宙のように。 Once lit, the liquid inside slowly stirs into convection, and the planet floating within begins to move: a small universe reflecting the world of the play.
千秋楽の地、北九州で活動されている作家さんに制作を依頼し形になりました。 It took form in the hands of an artist working in Kitakyūshū, the city of the closing performance.
鰹節・オリジナル焼印入りの削り器 Katsuobushi & Branded Shaver
夫婦のかたちはさまざま。時として関係性や心の在りかが流動するという意味合いを込め、〝夫婦千体万状〟のメッセージと共に名付けた〈夫婦節〉。 The shapes a marriage can take are many — and at times the bond, and where the heart resides, flows and shifts. With that meaning, and the message "a thousand forms, ten thousand states of marriage," we named this pair "Meoto-bushi."
雄節（鰹の背中部分、さっぱりとした味わい）。雌節（鰹の腹部分、こくのある味わい）。異なる個性を持つ二つの節が合わさることで、ひとつの豊かな旨味に。各家庭の夫婦の〝ちょうどいい〟を、二つの節を合わせるように重ねました。 O-bushi, from the bonito's back — clean and light. Me-bushi, from the belly — rich and deep. Two distinct characters, joined into one full umami — layered the way each couple finds their own "just right."
鰹節は、主演女優の方の出身地のもの。小さな無添加味噌も添えました。 The bonito comes from the lead actress's home region; a small additive-free miso is included alongside.
ワインボトル Wine Bottle
劇中に登場する印象的な木製の仮面を、そのまま投影したようなラベルのワインを探し出しました。NYを拠点に活動する彫刻家であり醸造家である、ウォルター・チャニングの作品です。 We sought out a wine whose label seemed to project, just as it was, the striking wooden mask that appears in the play — the work of Walter Channing, a sculptor and winemaker based in New York.
ボトルには、オリジナルメッセージを添えてご提供しました。 Each bottle was presented with an original message attached.
手拭い Tenugui
〝はしる〟がテーマのドラマ。役者さんご本人に、足裏に墨をつけ、長い半紙の上を駆け抜けて頂きました。 A drama themed on "running." The actor inked the soles of their feet and dashed across a long sheet of washi paper.
取れた足裏と飛沫をプリントした手拭いにし、〝はしる喜び〟と直筆で加筆致しました。 The footprints and splatters became a printed tenugui, to which the actor added, in their own hand, the words "the joy of running."
手拭いの生地には、ご友人が当時携わっていたプロジェクト〝地雷原を綿畑に〟から、カンボジアで作られた綿生地を使用。地雷原で生まれ、自由に走り回れない子供たちへの思いも込めた、ダブルミーニングの作品。 The cloth comes from "From Minefields to Cotton Fields," a project a friend was part of at the time — cotton woven in Cambodia. A work of double meaning, carrying a thought for the children born on minefields who cannot run freely.
